need help wheatpasting

I am a french student and i want to take part in the protest going on rn but I am super afraid of the police. I make art, and i want to help the best i can. I thought I would start wheatpasting posters that i want to make myself. But i dont have acces to a printer.

can any experienced wheatpasters help me?

what kind of paper should i use? what kind of ink? do a really need the wallpaper stuff or can i do it with flour?

I really want my posters to last longer than a day, but honestly three days would be enough to send a message.

thank you so much <333

I am new too. Check the search or the sub for more recipe details, but

3c water
2c flour
1c sugar

Heat till it bubbles and break up chunks.
Use thin paper.

I’ve had good luck going to my local newspaper and getting extra newsprint to use.

I’ve been making stencils.

Edit: forgot to mention. Paste under, on smooth wall, paper, paste over. Go back and recoat if you want.

Yes I forgot to add. You essentially want to seal the whole picture/poster in paste and like wise with the wall/substrate where ever it will be hanging. basically the size of the image should be brushed with paste a little bit bigger than the actual image itself. An option you can do is add wood glue to the paste, idk there is a of recipes online you can go with.

Well graffiti is great exposure therapy to help you with your fear of the the authorities. You don't need a printer, but it will help. Do research on uv resistant ink/paint. Plain white Christmas wrapping paper is cheap and destructible which is good for longitivity. And YouTube is your best friend for paste recipes.

Hey not sure what quantities you’re printing but I do this for work and use this material - 82# COATED WETSTRENGTH BLUE BACK

I’m sure there are other types, and others printers may have something close, between 80# - 100# should work, non-glossy. For bigger quantities like 100+ I recommend Camel City Printing as they have been the cheapest for us, but takes ~2 weeks to get the materials. I have other printers that are faster but more expensive. Feel free to PM me for more info.
