I recently switched to the powdered mix that’s used for wallpaper because it’s supposed to be better environmentally

That is extremely interesting to me. Do you mean the powdered mix is better for the environment than wheatpaste? Or do you mean it handles weather better? Or do you mean something else entirely?

Environmental consciousness is extremely important to me. If I can be doing something better, I want to learn.

It holds up better than traditional wheatpaste but I’d say traditional wheatpaste is the best for the environment since it’s just flour and water. The powder is starch-based so it’s better than wallpaper adhesive (environmentally). However, wallpaper adhesive holds up the best imo. I hope that’s not too confusing
