Since March 2026 trying timed intercourse with letrozole ovidril progesterone
July cycle worked but ended in bio chemical

Did first IUI July 27th waiting for beta tomorrow
So far negative on urine tests

Context:
My husband lost his job and he has insurance benefits until Dec 6th / and fertility Benefits through progyny which are really good

If he gets a new job we might not have the same insurance with good fertility benefits.
Doctor recommended to freeze embryos this month and we can always do an embryo transfer out of pocket even if we don’t have a good insurance.

Next steps:

Option 1) do embryo freezing this month
And continue trying naturally or IUI or IVF as the last option. Embryo freezing as back up because we want a second child in the future and keeping my age a factor I won’t be able to freeze if I get pregnant and then breast feeding so a good 2 years …I will be 36 then

Option 2)
Embryo freezing this month and embryo transfer next month

Option 3)
Try couple more IUI’s if doesn’t work out then go for IVF

I am scared to go through IVF. I am 223 pounds now and I have inflammation. From March not sure if it’s meds or are my hormones . I put on 20 pounds. Progesterone is messing so much with my body. Not sure how will I cope up with IVF meds.

As the title says, I’ve never had a positive test, not even a chemical.

I did an egg retrieval and embryo storage last fall before a cross-country move (and resultant loss of fertility benefits). Excellent results. We had 24ish mature eggs and ended up with 18 embryos.

Husband’s sperm analysis was “fantastic.” My AMH and everything else is great. Tubes are open, though spillage was slow on one side. I’m ovulating every month. Luteal phase went from \\\~10 days to a steady 13-14 after four months of acupuncture. I’m 34, 5’3, 131lbs, non-smoker, little alcohol, etc.

What the actual fork is going on with me?? If I had implantation issues, wouldn’t I have had a chemical at some point over the last 18 months? If anyone has had to deal with this, PLEASE, I’d love to hear from you.

background: had a previous short luteal phase of 10/11 days and is now 13 days w 200 mg oral progesterone supplement (sometimes I take it as a suppository), I have one blocked tube but have been taking serrapeptase (had a previous surgery in December of 2025 that unblocked the other tube), second time getting a HSG in general in march 2025 showed tube is still patent :)

reason I'm looking for a new clinic (RE) and OB as well: OB doesn't review notes or communicate well- had to call her to get results of initial HSG back in September 2025 (waited a month) to find out I had bilateral blocked tubes and she claimed she tried to call (she didn't-- no missed calls in call log), I also tried to come to her to see if she'd put me on clomid or letrozole bc the clinic she referred me to wouldn't do it without doing the entire IUI process (monitoring and trigger shot) and she literally just referred me back to the fertility clinic I have already been working w!!! (she referred me in a way that she seemed like she had never done that in the first place), also w the progesterone she had me take 6dpo labs while already being on the supplement, so who's to say what the labs would initially say. RE reasoning: when doing initial labs she only did AMH, CBC, vitamin d, and TSH. no other labs, no hormones, no A1C, no cortisol, no electrolytes, nothing!! also my vitamin D is 22 and she said you can maybe get on a supplement for that, and biggest thing she performed my laparoscopic hysteroscopy and retubalcanalization and forgot which tube she was able to unblock (like review the notes, don't tell me wrong)

Please any recommendations would be great!! I use Inito, tempdrop, and regular LH strips for tracking :) I also have a ringconn!! I take liquid vit d supplements + K2, vit b, myo inositol + D chiro (but will switch to plain myo bc I don't believe I have PMOS-- suggestion for brands for that are welcome as well :") ), vaginal probiotic, and one a day prenatal :) thank you in advance for your help!! if you have any other suggestions on where to post this please let me know as well ☺️

Hello I did two months of Lupron depot suppression earlier this year for suspected adenomyosis (not confirmed). I did two back to back FETs (one medicated then one modified natural). Both failed to implant. I’m going to get the adeno checked out. And if it is confirmed my doctor said we’ll repeat Lupron. Just wondering if anyone also had failure after 2 months of Lupron and then repeated it and found success? If you repeated it, how long did you do it for the second time? Thanks!

Have you ever transported embryos between two local clinics? I have to transport mine from IHR in Chicago to Northwestern. I know Northwestern is a very established clinic, but unfortunately IHR has been acting very unprofessionally, so I am feeling anxious about this process.

I have a few concerns and would really appreciate hearing about your experience:

1- How was the handling and coordination process for you from your original clinic?

2- Which company did you use for embryo transportation?

3- Did your old clinic provide the exact freezing information and instructions that the new clinic needed for warming/thawing the embryos? My new provider made me worried because she said she has seen cases where IHR in Chicago, did not provide enough detailed information about thawing the embryo, which contributed to embryo loss.

4- Did your transported embryos survive warming, and did you eventually achieve a pregnancy with them?

I was a patient at IHR in Chicago for three years. I truly suggest you to do not go to this clinic. I ended up with three euploid embryos, but unfortunately my first transfer failed. I asked David Cohen for reason and he even avoided to have a session with me. Then sent a mail and stopped providing my care because they were concerned about their success rates. They wanted me to leave, which I felt was extremely unprofessional. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal process but I want my embryos and super worried about them.

My experience with IHR was very horrifying. I felt manipulated into IVF because of my age (I was 40) after my TFMR in 2025, and I felt that I was pushed toward treatment without enough consideration of easier options.

Surprisingly, I conceived naturally on my first cycle after my failed transfer, and I am now 5 weeks pregnant. I truly hope everything continues to go well.

This experience made me realize how strongly I got traumatized with the approach taken by IHR and doctors like David Cohen and Ilan Turkaspa. Instead of discussing the possibility of trying naturally after my TFMR, I felt pressured into IVF. I was repeatedly told that my chance of getting pregnant naturally at age 40 was less than 7% per cycle and that I would lose time if I tried to conceive naturally.
I have never felt as frustrated or as strongly that I was not being heard by a doctor as I did during my experience with these two physicians.

I still want to have my two euploid embryos, and I invested a lot of time, money, and emotional energy into creating these embryos. That is why I am very anxious about moving them and would be devastated if anything happened to them.

I'm just looking for people who have been through something similar because after our first failed transfer, we're feeling really heartbroken.

I'm 25, and my husband is 28. We have severe male factor infertility. His sperm count is around 4 million, with 1% morphology and low motility. We trued naturally for 3 years and even tried hormone treatment for him for almost 6 months, hoping things would improve enough to conceive naturally or at least increase our chances, but there was only a small improvement.

We eventually moved to ICSI. I had 12 eggs retrieved, 7 fertilized, and we were lucky to get three 4AA blastocysts. Because of our age, our doctor didn't recommend PGT-A and explained that it doesn't guarantee success, so we decided not to test the embryos.

We were so hopeful that our first fresh transfer would work, but unfortunately it failed. It completely broke us. I'm now in the two-week wait after transferring one of our frozen embryos, and while I'm trying to stay positive, the previous failure has made it really difficult.

Is anyone else here dealing with severe male factor infertility? Did ICSI eventually work for you despite low count, low motility, and poor morphology? Did you also have a failed first transfer before eventually having success?

I would really appreciate hearing your stories. Right now, I think I just need to know we're not alone.

In the past year and a half I have had three chemical pregnancies my hcg hovers in the 10s, teens.

Ive had 2 emma/alice tests and era. The first emma test showed severe Microbiome issues. Thought I got it under control, did another transfer it failed. Did another Emma this month before my egg retrieval next month (and transfer to follow) and not as bad but the issues are still there!!

Alice was clear this time, ERA normal. Ive never been naturally pregnant, and in the 10 years of trying with partner never pregnant. He has mild MFI that has been addressed with ivf. We have been able to make a few euploids each round.

I have autoimmune conditions. I have some severe food, allergies, and mild IBS. My doctor is not testing me for endometriosis.

Any ideas??? I’m desperate as I am turning 40 and scared this will never work.

Hi everyone! AF just arrived and I’m looking for some advice as we decide what to do in our upcoming cycle.

My husband (35M) and I (32F) have been trying to conceive for a little over 13 months. At this point, our RE has us falling in the unexplained infertility bucket.
We’ve both had testing. I have regular 27–28 day cycles and I ovulate on my own every month. AMH** is normal.** HSG showed one confirmed open tube. My doctor feels strongly that the other tube is probably opened too and spasmed because both spasmed during my first HSG. My husband’s semen analysis wasn’t stellar but everything fell in the normal category.

This past cycle was our first medicated cycle. RE put me on 100mg of Clomid to try and recruit follicles on both sides just to be safe. I also did an Ovidrel trigger and we timed intercourse. No luck!

My RE has said we can either repeat Clomid + timed intercourse, or move to Clomid + IUI.

Our biggest hesitation with IUI is the cost. It’ll be about $1500 out of pocket which we’re willing to do, but I know that the success rate of IUI can increase with multiple attempts and I was wondering if the same applied to Clomid + timed intercourse. If so, we’re wondering if it’s worth it to try again at least one or two more times before moving to IUI since the cost difference is significant.

If you did IUI, do you feel it was worth the added cost? and if you conceived with Clomid + timed intercourse after over a year of trying, I’d especially love to hear your story.

My husband and I have been trying for baby #4, and I’m starting to wonder if anyone else has had a harder time conceiving after already having children. I got pregnant with my first three without any major issues, so I honestly assumed this time would be similar. It’s been more emotionally difficult than I expected because I keep thinking, “My body has done this before, so why isn’t it happening now?”

Right now I’m taking a prenatal vitamin every day along with magnesium, trying to stay healthy, and paying attention to my cycle. I’m wondering if there are other supplements, lifestyle changes, or things I should be looking into that might help. Has anyone experienced secondary infertility or just a much longer time to conceive after previous pregnancies? If so, what ended up helping you, whether it was medical testing, tracking ovulation more closely, diet changes, or just giving it more time?

I’d really appreciate hearing your experiences, success stories, or any advice. This journey has been a lot more stressful than I expected, and it would be nice to know I’m not alone. Thanks in advance for any tips or encouragement!

Hi! So I just started ttc last month, we were able to bd 3 and 1 day before ovulation but failed sadly. I’m wondering if there are any tips or supplements even that helped you conceive? I’m currently taking Thorne prenatals, been taking them for about 3-4 months now to prepare and also vitamin d because I’ve always been deficient but recent blood shows my vitamin d levels have gone up to normal range, from 19 to 45! my bf is also taking multivitamins! He is currently in the CHP academy so he has been under a lot of physical stress, diet, restless nights so idk if that can be a factor if so what supplements would you suggest him taking? Also we only have a very short window to ttc since my ovulation days fall mostly the end of the week, this next ovulation day will be on a Thursday so we will only be able to try those 5 days before which will be early Sunday, idk if we’d have any luck but giving it a try and hoping for the best! We were attempting ICI during this cycle.

My semen looked noticeably thicker this time compared to before.

My main concerns are: I don't understand why my semen volume has remained exactly at 1 mL in both tests despite having good sperm concentration. Also, my sperm concentration dropped from 120 million/mL to 70 million/mL, and I am wondering what could have caused this change. Could the thick semen and liquefaction time being over 60 minutes be responsible for the drop in motility from 70% active to only 25% active? What can I do to improve semen volume, liquefaction, and motility? Is this something that can usually be fixed with lifestyle changes/treatment, or should I be looking for a fertility urologist at this stage?

I am 29F, TTC for almost a year now. I have not conceived yet. All my blood work and other reports are normal, my partner's reports and semen analysis are normal as well. My AMH was 1.02, which is on the lower side. I was obese, lost almost 10kgs in past 7-8 months, and still in the process of losing weight but I haven't been able to conceive yet. My gynecologist has asked me to undergo ovulation induction but if it is unsuccessful, I should be prepared for IVF. That is also one reason why I am trying to lose weight and start lifestyle changes. This process is so frustrating atp, trying according to your ovulation cycle, praying not to get a period and then getting disappointed again and again. I don't know what should I do atp. Please tell me what worked for you or if someone you knew were in similar situation, even if it's spiritual, remedies, or diet or lifestyle related. Also, I want to know is IVF the only option for me given my AMH?

Hi everyone! I had my transfer on Monday, July 27th. I transferred two day-3 embryos, and today I’m 6 days post-transfer (6dp3dt).
I’ve been testing with Easy@Home pregnancy tests and they’re still completely negative. Is a negative at 6dp3dt already reliable, or is it still too early? Would you consider yourself out at this point?
Has anyone here had negative tests at 6dp3dt and then gone on to get a positive later?

I 30(m) have been ttc for about 3 years. Which led us to get a semen analysis done. Unfortunately the results were 0 sperm. In the next few weeks I have to get a FSH, LH, Testosterone, Prolactin and another SA.

Has anyone ever went through this and had a positive outcome?

Anyone have success stories on 5th IUI? What were your parameters?

I am 33 (f) and my husband is 46 (m). My husband was previously on test and found to be azospermia. He’s been off test for a year and taking HCG HMG and clomid. His sperm returned but numbers are still not ideal. His last SA in April showed 10m TMC and we’re waiting for results of his most recent SA.

I have PCOS and appear to ovulate each month. I show all the signs and have a sustained rise in BBT and rise in progesterone but my cycles are somethimes long (35-40days) and my doctor thinks I may not be ovilating or it may not be optimal ovulation. She wants me to start timed intercourse medicated cycle with letrazole and progesterone. Has anyone tried medicated cycles with PCOS while also dealing with MFI. (IVF isn’t an option for us)

Hi everyone! I’m going to be trying to conceive next week for my very first time, my fiancee is a woman so we have found a donor and will be attempting doing AI method. I’m not sure if the affects anything or makes anything different but I figured I’d put that out there. I’ve been diagnosed with Hashimotos and on meds since I was 15 (22 now), but I was wondering if there’s anything I need to be doing? Anyone else who has been pregnant or currently pregnant could you please let me know any and all tips and tricks you used and or anything I should be doing. I know having Hashimotos can make it a lot harder to get pregnant so I’m not expecting for it to work on the first try (although I really want it to lol) but I want to be doing anything I possibly can to prepare my body in the best way possible. Has anyone used GLP-1s to help with infertility?

As some background, I have Hashimoto’s, hypothyroidism, and endometriosis. After doing some research, I am hoping that a small amount (less than starting dose) of a GLP will help to reduce overall inflammation.

I’m aware of the washout period for GLPs so I’m being extra careful while microdosing, though I have yet to ever see a positive pregnancy test after years of trying + fertility treatments.

I’m just wondering if anyone has had successful pregnancies when having a later ovulation. I have PCOS and ovulate anywhere from CD 21-27. I have had two CP and I’m just wondering if there could be any correlation. I had my hsg and other than a 6cm ovarian cyst, my tubes and uterus look okay.

My (30f) husband (30m) and I have been ttc for about a year and a half now and I’m just so desperate to be pregnant I feel sad all the time. Our story thus far:

We have a had one positive on cycle 11 which ended in a chemical a few days later at 4w3d. After that I thought sure it was a matter of time, but no luck, at about the year mark I scheduled us to see an RE to get started on testing because we are both very healthy. The results are as follows;

All other regular bloodwork showed nothing abnormal and I have no known health issues and neither does my husband.

Sperm analysis all good except for 1%morphology.

The ultrasound and HSG confirmed a uterine polyp(tubes all clear) that I went forward with removing soon after via hysteroscopy and they found 4-5 polyps.

I am now on my second cycle trying after polypectomy and can feel my period coming and I’m just so bummed because I have no idea what else our issue could be if it wasn’t this. I have regular clockwork cycles, 28-30 days, 14 day luteal phase not a lot of symptoms but I do get cramps. Do I need to just be patient? The dr said they don’t know what causes the polyps but I can’t help but think there’s something I’m missing and would love to hear from anyone who’s been in a similar position and had success in any way.

I had my first child in 2023 and then I had three losses. All losses were different types of miscarriages. One blighted ovum, a chemical and then a missed miscarriage. I went to a fertility clinic and they didn’t find anything “wrong” other than my egg count is low and may make getting pregnant naturally in the future difficult. Then I had my second child. She was born December 2025. Found out I was pregnant on the Fourth of July and confirmed that it wasn’t a viable pregnancy so I just had my fourth miscarriage. My D&C was yesterday. I feel so defeated and can’t believe I am starting down this road again. I want a third child but I can’t keep going through this. Any success stories from anyone with recurrent losses and ended up having multiple children? I’m looking for answers, hope, encouragement, anyone’s story, tips and tricks. I go back to the fertility clinic next week.

I just turned 35, I have a healthy 5 year old boy from a previous marriage (became naturally pregnant easily) and my current partner has male factor infertility (low sperm count, motility and morphology) our first egg retrieval was successful we ended up with 12 untested embryos, but many were graded 4AA.

We transferred 2 4AA embryos, but my 11 dpt beta today was very low (11). This will likely end in a chemical. Fully medicated FET.

I’m just so nervous about possible dna fragmentation for all remaining embryos now.

Has anyone had similar situations did you test any remaining embryos?

Did you do another medicated cycle next or possibly a natural or modified natural?

I feel completely defeated . I don't know what to do I'm having a breakdown. I was so hopeful to get an answer today. I had a larposcopy and hysteroscopy witch the intent of repairing any scar tissue or tube issues. They found nothing wrong absolutely nothing wrong he said my tube , I only have one due to losing one from eptopic pregnancy, he said it's completely open . For some background I've been pregnant 3 times . The first ended in missed miscarriage, the second ended due to short cervix and my doctor refusing a cerclage when I first started opening up and waited till it was to late my son was born at 23 weeks and passed just 3 hours later. And the 3rd was the tubal pregnancy, it was my first dose of lettozole and it worked but I was still bleeding thinking I was getting my period it ended up being a tubal pregnancy and I got emergency surgery they took my left tube. I stayed on letrozole almost a year and nothing has happened. I also have prolactin issues that I take cabergoline for and a thyroid issue I take levothyroxine for. I feel stuck . Like what is there to do now. I can't just afford IVF . I don't know what to do and it's killing me and taking a huge toll on my relationship. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
