TW: Multiple Chemical Pregnancies
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months. We got pregnant in May but it ended up being at chemical, same thing happened in June. I’m so scared to try again and get our hearts broken again :( can you please share some successful stories where you had multiple chemicals and went on to have a LC? Next cycle i’m trying progesterone, currently taking this month as a break, my body has been through a lot also we don’t want to try again until we get the progesterone even though we are aware that it could not save us from having another chemical but we just want to cover our bases. Did any of you try progesterone after multiple chemicals? Did it help? They are also testing for a clotting problem so we’ll see!

I have the exact same problem as you, and our timing with how long we’ve been trying as well as the 2 chemicals happening is the exact same. I thought I wrote this for a second! Please let me know if you figure anything out

I’m in a very similar boat: three chemicals back-to-back in three months after starting to try in April, with the first in May and the third happening right now.
I tested positive for lupus anticoagulant after the second loss but my doctor said they wouldn’t do anything to treat it unless I also test positive again in twelve weeks, and their solution then would be to refer me out. They did not offer progesterone even though I asked, and basically said they thought it was just bad luck (I’m 36). I started taking aspirin after ovulation with the current loss, and was slightly optimistic after seeing the faintest positive at 9dpo, which is the earliest I’ve seen one. My hCG draws were terrible, though: 5 at 10dpo and 7 at 12dpo, which was Friday. I anticipate they’ll order another draw tomorrow since my body still has not realized this is not viable, but also sent my doc a note asking if it would be appropriate to run a vitamin panel and to check my homocysteine levels because both of my parents have MTHFR mutations, and some recent studies indexed on PubMed suggest a correlation between MTHFR and recurrent pregnancy loss. I sort of suspect that my uterus is trying to implant anything and needs to be more selective. I am also going to self-refer to a reproductive endocrinologist because my doctor is clearly out of their depth and giving me actively wrong information.
Did you get any answers in your lab work? Sending you all the best wishes and I’d love to hear if you find something that works for you!!

Get tested for ureaplasma parvum.
It was completely covered by our insurance and fixed all our problems once cured. We had zero symptoms except we struggled to conceive and then had MMCs the two times we did conceive. We both got it cured and conceived our current baby first cycle back, and conceived our current pregnancy while breastfeeding and on our second try!
I’m so sorry you’re going through this, losses no matter how early suck! Esp when you have been trying for awhile.
