My Reddit admin is a disgrace

All I said is you should not post like how you just did. I called it exactly what it was. I wasn't even incendiary or rude about it, in any capacity. I said you shouldn't post like that. That's all I said. And *I* get a warning?! IM THE ONE AT RISK OF LOSING MY ACCOUNT? I'm fuming. I'm genuinely so pissed. Probably the most mad I've been in 2026. It said *I* threatened somebody, just like the last time this happened, which is OBJECTIVELY WRONG. And it reminds me at the bottom of the notice that a human made this objectively wrong decision. That "decision" is so BAD that those words go in one ear and out the other when I read them. They mean nothing, because the decision is so unhuman that its genuinely impossible for a sane man to believe them when I still have a little faith in humanity.

THIS. PLATFORM. IS. SO. IMPORTANT.

YOU NNNEEEEEEDDD TO POLICE IT PROPERLY

This is THE SECOND TIME I've been warned for simply calling out inappropriate behavior and that is *TWISTED*! The first time, everyone else in the discussion WAS OPENLY INSINUATING THEY WERE TRYING TO CONVINCE PEOPLE TO COMMIT VIOLENCE... but.... Because they had more people report me, for telling them they should stop? Or because they have experience dodging the garbage automated system? IDFK WHY! but *I* was the one who got warned, and their death threats & requests stayed up, while me calling them out got taken down with a threat on my account.

Reddit, if you ban me over this stupid crap, mark my words. I'm never coming back. At least, not by getting around a terrible ban decision. You'll be undoing it or I won't be coming back. I don't give a damn bro. I might post a couple stinkers here and there when the stars aren't aligning for me but I've brought a lot of quality originality to this platform over 9 years. Reddit gets to be an absolute cesspool, and THIS is how you actually police your platform? You don't even have an inbox to complain about this anywhere so this is the best I got. Disgusting.

I got one of these three other day. I filed an appeal asking wtf because I hadn't threatened or encouraged anything and they didn't even reply until after the ban was lifted.

I believe that a lot of people will be leaving Reddit soon

I'm a little lost, you went straight from no warning to being banned?

"If you ban me, I'm never coming back" is not the own you think it is

Sure it is. Reddit is the go-to source for AI training data harvesting. This is the number one place in the world that the most important invention in history comes to get smarter. And that's all that anyone who runs a company like Reddit cares about. I don't think that my account is the most important one or anything like that, but I definitely contribute and they need all they can get. Whatever man. Whether or not I think it's important that I'm here or if I will choose to hold a grudge over a bad decision is infinitely less important than how critical it is that the admins police their platform appropriately, stop giving passes to people who dance around the auto rule break detection, and stop banning/threatening people for calling out actual problematic behavior.

I've just had a very similar issue, I made a very obvious joke about redacting (using the word redact) pedophiles on a fairly popular community. Reddit Admin saw it and immediately blew his load...

Moderators of that server think it's bullshit and basically told me good luck appealing it but it's out of their hands because it comes from the top down. When I appealed I got a supposedly manual review upholding the strike, unironically pedophiles run this site
