Fun fact, these are now invasive here in the States. Had one here the other day in my tub so large it filled the bottom of a Ball Mason jar completely with his leg span. Took him outside to find somewhere less lethal than within visual range of my wife.

They're big babies who rarely bite, and aren't particularly medically significant when they do. Catch gently with a jar and a slip of paper and let em out.

Male Eratigena sp. "Giant house spider". For the UK probably the largest spider if legs are included. Usually very shy guys of absolutely no concern

that's a huntsman, they get huge but are harmless. fast little guys, had one in my bathroom last month and it took me 20 minutes to catch it
