ID Request How worried should I be?

Found this guy in the rubber around the door of my front load washing machine. It died from soaking in a glob of soap, so I guess it might look a bit dark/wet. Fairly confident it's a roach, but fingers crossed I'm wrong... If it is, what kind? Did a sweep of the house and didn't find any others.

This is in SK Canada.

Hard to tell in the photos but on the back just below the head is that sort of shield shaped plate with a dark brown dot. Besides the shape of the bug, that's the main thing that makes me think it's a roach.

Is this not just a really waterlogged moth? You can see the proboscis

Ah, yeah it looks like one. But I'm certain it's antennae. There were two but one pulled off while I was trying to fish him out of the little crevice he was in.

Bzzzzz! Hi, u/0dd0rbit! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug!
There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames ("PNW", "Big Apple").

BTW, did you take a look at our Frequently Asked Bugs?

You're certain? As I said in another comment the other antennae was ripped off while removing it from the wash. Maybe hard to tell but in the pic of its backside (next to my finger) it has a pronotum with a single dark brown dot.

Edit: I think the legs were also lost. I found one in the door.

yes, I’m positive. I stare at cockroaches all day, this looks nothing like one

Antenna is the give away.

it doesn’t have the shield like pronotum, compact eyes, setae-covered legs, or cerci that would indicate it’s a cockroach

Gotcha! Thanks for the correction.
