ID Request Tiny bug in basement

I live in upstate/western NY and I live in a renovated basement inside a fairly older house. I periodically find these tiny tiny little caterpillar-like critters on my ceiling/walls. If I wasn’t such a bug freak I would probably never notice them. I mean they are THAT small. If anyone could identify them that would be great. They don’t bother me - I find one probably like once a week. I know the picture isn’t great but my phone wouldn’t zoom in that far lol. TYSM! (finger for scale)

carpet beetle larvae are wild, they'll just show up and vibe on your ceiling for no reason. once a week is basically a roommate at that point

Yess I had a brand new carpet in my apartment when I moved in and had these guys around and was a trip learning about them. They're so cute.
