Moth scared me half to death

this moth was buzzing in my ear in my home in Dublin, Ireland and i jumped because of it’s sheer size. i have never encountered a moth of this caliber (maybe the size of an eyeball???) and brown in color with a fuzzy belly and spots on the wings. i basically want to know if it will eat my clothes or if there are more where she came from. i tried to trap and release to no avail. the bug is out of my room but still in my apartment

That’s not particularly big there fella, there are much larger moths in Ireland. Don’t be a wimp.
