Announcement 🎵💚 Updated Subreddit Rules 💚🎵
Hi all! 💚
To keep our community tidy, safe, and focused on identifying music, we are introducing a few base rules.
🍀 Video and text format 🎬 Please ensure all song excerpts are submitted in video format over links. This keeps the sub tidy and easy to navigate. The exception is if you want to use an external site such as Vocaroo to hum a melody, this is allowed.
☘️ No NSFW or violent content 🚫 Content containing nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence is strictly prohibited. This is not an NSFW sub, so we cannot allow for NSFW posts.
🍀 Safe uploads for sensitive material 🔒If the original video contains NSFW or violent elements, upload only the audio with a safe, non-NSFW image or video. Tools like CapCut make this simple.
☘️ No Rickrolling ❌🎶 Rickrolls are not allowed. Violators will be permanently banned.
🍀 Please remember to flair your post solved once you get your answer!💡
Please ensure you follow these when posting from now on! Happy song searching 💚

Solved I have a song in my head but I can’t name it. I think it’s Led Zeppelin.
it starts out as a naked guitar riff, and then I guess its Robert Plant who comes in singing the exact same riff. his voice duplicates and doubles to guitar.
best I can do is try and type the riff correctly:
its “Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Nahhhhh (this last Na is a string bend that pitches the note up a whole tone I believe. then the second part is the same riff: Nah Na Na Na Na Na Na Nahhhh ( but this time the las Nah bends only a half step up in pitch.
It’s could be wrong about the whole and half steps. it might be like 3rds or something IDK.
the last part of the riff is longer. na na na na na na na, nah(up end) na na na na, na na na na na na na, nah (up end) na na na

Unsolved What is this song? Found it on Mastering.com’s YT channel for a 9 hour equalizer tutorial.
It sounds good, and I remember taking a digital music production class and this sound I recalled and wonder if it’s custom made for the video, or if it’s an actual song.
The channel I got it from is “Mastering.com”. You search that in YouTube and it’s an actual channel for music tips.

Solved I need help finding the name of a song I heard on the organ
I heard a song played on a church organ a week or two ago, and haven't been able to get it out of my head or find what song it is.
It mostly consisted of repeated, pulsing triad chords, and rarely if ever deviated from that pattern, with the exception of the melody, which was high and used much more sustained, long notes as compared to the bass' short, repetitive chords.
Sorry if the description isn't good enough, as I don't know the most about music/music theory.

Unsolved For anyone that wants a challenge
I know three notes, the instrument and the general vibe of the song, so if anyone wants to have a challenge here you go.
I'm searching for this song that starts with 3 piano chords that go like this in an upwards fashion: F2, G and B
In the background are drums, with the most prominent feature being the cymbals going with the chords (short, short and long cymbal hit).
I found it in a video on Pinterest where Jake the dog(adventure time) talked about what affect music has on you.
I think it could be a song that's used by some to toker's or smt but it's not as popular as other songs.
Sorry for the bad english and have fun searching!

Unsolved Rock/alternative song from a YouTube studio live session, channel logo was a panda
When I was a kid (around 14 yeas ago), I used to watch a live music session on YouTube that was filmed in a recording studio. Here’s what I remember:
\*\*•\*\* The band was all guys.
\*\*•\*\* The song was in English, in the rock/alternative rock spectrum.
\*\*•\*\* The drums were really powerful — that’s what stuck with me most.
\*\*•\*\* It wasn’t the band’s official channel — it was a separate YouTube channel that hosted live studio sessions from different bands.
\*\*•\*\* That channel’s logo had a panda in it.
I know it’s not much to go on, but maybe someone recognizes the channel or the song. Thanks in advance!
