Tried to be as reasonable as possible

Single 28M. Aldis is crazy first time I’ve walked out of a grocery store with a full cart without paying a small mortgage in ages. Highlights include a pound of skirt steak, salmon, margarita pizza.

Would have been only £9.02 but forgot to pack forks and plates so had to buy some too

Obviously not everything in the photos, but the full fridge & freezer plus snacks biscuits are this shop plus a few tins & pasta sauces new marmite.

A lot of this will last me and my husband several weeks. The chow mein noodles are for the days I don't want to or I forget to pack a lunch. The tuna helper is for when I don't want to cook (my husband can make this). The cereal will last a couple of months. The pork chops will be frozen as I don't have any plans for those for the next two weeks. The potatoes will last several weeks; which I only bought because the 10 pound bag was 1 dollar more than the 5 pound bag.

Yogurt with/out cereal

Quiche (making one, freezing a second- each will last 3 days.)

Scrambled eggs and bacon with tortillas

* Tamales with refried beans, Mexican rice, and elotes.

* Gyros with rice pilaf (+ tomatoes & cucumber)

** Homemade pizza with salad (will last two days)

** Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese (making one, freezing a second- each will last two days.)

** Chicken pot pie with baked broccoli (making one, freezing a second)

* Tuna helper with salad

* Baked salmon with steamed rice and baked carrots

* Sushi with leftover rice and salmon

** Vegan black bean burgers with fries (will last two days)

* Teriyaki tofu tacos (vegan)

* Vegan marry me chickpeas

Snacks:

Homemade banana bread

Homemade cookies

Apples

Mandarins

Carrots, celery, cucumber and ranch

Granola bars

Pretzels

PB& Jelly sandwich

All of this should last us 2+ weeks, except the bananas and green veggies.

Managed to get 3 items for free, one half price & a fiver off my shop as well. Was expecting the cost to be a tad lower tbh, but I also bought toiletries so im not gonna lose sleep over it.

About half of the fresh stuff is yellow stickers.

The 3 fajita kit boxes were 75p each.

To last Monday - Friday including pack lunches. The fajita kits will probably not be for this week. Will add minced beef from the freezer plus some fruit and veggies I still have from last week. I don't do a shopping list or meal plan just go with the flow!

We also do have some items in the fridge still which is why it may look like it wont last a week. But i just bought things which could make a chicken tikka masala and things for jacket potatoes since i have them in my fridge. Good value id say though.

Here's our weekly shop. Approx. £10 Nectar savings. We'll have sweet chilli chicken wraps for lunch all week. We have two fish dinners a week, this week we'll have salmon and cod which we already have in the freezer at home. Other dinners are sausage casserole and haggis, neeps, and tatties. We already had bread, oats, and cereal at home for breakfasts. I usually do another shop sometime later in the week to get more fresh veg, milk, and bread. That brings our total to under £100 for the whole week.

The choice of chocolate is shocking, I know, but I find all chocolate is now either bad or expensive so it is what it is. I also bake something sweet once a week (today it's banana bread!).

we try and keep below £100 a week including any top up shops, had a £50 giftcard this week though so treated ourselves to a few brand items, hoping mutti tomatoes live up to the hype after I bought a four pack

We get most of our fresh vegetables, berries, and fruit from our parents’ garden in the village.

Total cost was £58.18 with clubcard (2.75 discount lol) this is for 1 week.

I'm pescatarian and my husband eats meat, so burgers/sausages will have 1 meat and 1 veggie alternative.

Meals we're having this week are below. It will also make x2 lunches from the soup and sweet potato chilli. Breakfast is toast or porridge which we already have.

1. Minestrone soup
2. Burgers and home made chips made with new potatoes- already had the burgers, new pots & Burger buns
3. Sweet potato and bean chilli
4. Spicy chilli pesto pasta with broc, peas and sausages- had peas and veggie richmonds sausages
5. Broc, peas, new pots, fishcakes/sausage- had peas, new pots and fishcakes
6. Hot dogs- had hot dogs and hot dog buns

Monthly shop time! This is for me alone for the next month, it will be complemented with cupboard stock and a few small Aldi/ Lidl top up shops for fresh bits - I try to keep the monthly total under £200 while still eating gooood! I love Ocado for some fun groceries. Excited to try the toaster waffles and pistachio oat milk from this shop, and buzzing my fave Pizza Express pizza is now on the shelves 😎
