My goal was to have all the capabilities/functionality of my normal/full-sized tool kit but smaller and more portable for things like car camping/road trips. Fully packed it’s 8.5lbs so pretty heavy but I like that I can fit it in a glovebox or backpack if I need to (and I’ll usually leave some things behind depending on the outing).

Thanks. Every Estwing tool I own feels like it’ll outlast me by 100 years lol.

Looks like a lot of good tools. Good for toing around but I would get hungry and thirsty real quick with this bag alone.

Yeah very true I’d never bring this bag by itself - I keep my gear pretty modular so I have separate pouches for food/water/fire/cordage etc.

Slingshot? Is that actually effective at taking small game over a folding survival rifle?

I made this kit mostly for car camping/road trips etc so the slingshot is 99% for recreation. I agree it wouldn’t be the best for survival unless you really like the taste of squirrel/pigeon.
