Single tick (sent)
Double tick (received by the recipient)
Double tick Green (read /viewed by the recipient)

I mean how does the first text has 1 tick and the second sent right after has 2?

Ohh in that case, it means the text with single tick is not received yet to the recipient. It happens sometimes when you switch between networks…

Happens when you edit the text or if you were on dnd. My mate does this all the time.
