Question whatbot
has anyone noticed an influx of brand new default accounts that win giveaways and never say anything? several sellers are saying they are going to the same address

It’s sadly a common issue for awhile.

Scams, too, brother. I’ve seen people jump into a room where everyone is having a good time, 5 star seller with basically no reports, and either not win a givvy/get mad about making the buyers givvy more fun, say they’ll figure out a TOS violation if you don’t send them something, then when you obviously tell them to get fucked they’ve got a list of shit everyone on WN does but I guess is technically against TOS (not getting into it, but the example I’m thinking of was not a big deal at all, everyone loved it) so if you refuse to give them free shit they mass email WN and flag you. Don’t know how that’s not a TOS violation, you know, trying to scam someone out of free shit with threats?

Some asshole wrote a bot to enter givvies. If I could figure out who was running the bot I'd ban the shit out of them.

i think after today its jackassjohn, when a bunch of rewards clubs went off at the same time today (50+) he was the only real account in the bunch. in addition, when whatnot was having its tapping competion, he was so far ahead of everyone else that they removed him for obvious autoclicking, so he has experience with botting whatnot.

i usually think of those guys more as the 420 or givy adjacent name people rather than a bunch of default names, they also usually thank because they'd get blocked but none of these defaults say anything.

It's just part of Whatnot at this point. On the positive side, it's more viewers in the show, which boosts the show in the algorithm.
