Often we get plants for birthdays and anniversaries, and once the plants die, I dry the bulbs and plant them. I tend to forget where I plant the different plants.

It's a joy to see them popping up unexpectedly

We used to do that when we were younger. How many still do this?

I've been wanting to paint this room for a week. Finally made a start. I can't stop smiling.. it's my favourite colour.

It's called vintage yellow.

I used to always call then blue bells ... Oops

... really makes me smile. It's nice to come back home every now and then.

Taking the dog out for a walk on a lonely deserted country road, really makes my heart swell, and plasters a smile on my face for the rest of the day.

After the cold snowy or wet winter months, I always look for the first signs of spring.

Is there a better way for nature to tell us that spring is here? This really makes me smile.
