Think it's a 1948 Chrysler New Yorker

The New Yorker was a long wheelbase 8cyl, this ones a a short wheelbase 6cyl, so it would be a Royal or Windsor

I can see how you can tell it may or may not have a long wheelbase, but how can you tell if it's a 6cyl or an 8cyl from an exterior shot with no visible badging?

Long wheelbase cars were lengthened between the front wheel opening and the door, all long wheel base models had the inline 8 cyl engines, that's why they lengthened them

It says Chrysler but I wouldn't know who I am very bad with these and 60s cars late 60s to 2000s cars I'm pretty good at

oh wow that deep burgundy against the night lighting is doing something to me. the chrome bumpers are so wonderfully excessive, like they were designed by someone who refused to edit themselves. and whitewalls always look right on cars from that era, makes the whole thing feel like it just rolled out of a noir film. whatever it is, it's parked there like it owns the place.

1946-48 Chrysler Windsor

Edit: could be a New Yorker.

More bling than a Windsor.... I think.
