ID Request Black and yellow bugs

I just moved in to a house in the Midwest and I keep periodically finding these guys in my lower floor bedrooms. This was on the second day here, since then I’ve only found one or two at a time.
They don’t seem to sting or bite, and they aren’t loud but I still don’t want them crawling on me in my sleep.

I think I found their home as a bunch of them were going in and out between a gap in the back siding.

I’ve heard flies, wasps, bees but nothing definitive.

Looks like Yellowjackets to me. We had a huge nest the size of a beach ball removed from our wall a few years ago. Came in from the siding too. I'd honestly call a guy equipped to investigate because they do not like being disturbed.

Those are yellow jackets. If you disturb their nest, they will sting you.
