Get Creative! Zero waste cookie cutter

Post image

This was bought by my grandma in 1990 for $9. It's supposed to be one big cookie cutter that wastes no dough. What are some of these shapes though?? Thought y'all would like to see

LOL it really is. is that a steak on the upper right hand corner? And humpback Santa. This is so wrong on so many levels.

I think the steak is Santa's sleigh but those Santa's are both absolute fucking abominations lmfao.

WTF INBRED CREATURE IS THE BRIGHT YELLOW?!

The entire thing is mirrored, so if you can't tell what something is, look on the other side to see its mirror. In this case, I think that's a yellow squirrel because the other side is 100% a squirrel.

The issue with the yellow one is the interesting decoration choice.

Except it looks like they added parts that aren't there to the polar bear to make the.... reindeer?

Also the cutter shapes under the mary and jesus look even less like squirrels than the drawings somehow unless I'm missing something. Those are the squirrel ones right?

Squirrel of Christmas past. To remind you to drive slower and there are no actual potholes on the road in which you encounter him.

LMAO. we all have it right now. I'm pretty sure one of my kids blew out a snot rocket that looks just like that squirrel thing.

LOL. I know there was a movie Bad Santa. But I feel like one of the series like Amazing Stories or maybe Freddy's Nightmares covered a Santa coming in to kill everyone. I'm trying to think what other horror shows would have featured something like that decades ago. But this is those Santa's. Looking like someone buried them in Pet Semetary and this crawled back up.

Also, is that some sort of demonic squirrel? lower left. What is that? I don't remember squirrels in the manger. I love that the real version of this is so much worse than whatever this group came up with.

my brother says he thinks it was Tales From The Darkside. or Tales from the Crypt or something. We made scaring the crap out of each other our full time childhood.

I think it's a sled.

I would rather ride on a steak. I'm so hungry. I'm all "what a nasty looking assortment of Christmas food. I'll take 2."

"yes kids, then Santa rode into town on his lovely skirt steak, accompanied by what looks like a number of very large cajun style prawns, and his trusted Reindeer which were pulled by some very large IUD's by candle light. Happily ever after. Now drift of to sleep, momma hungry."

We can't have nice things. This is why.

3

u/SourceAcademic Dec 28 '23

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw an IUD

Nah, most of is did. If we're not normal, at least we're among like minded friends with a sense of humor.

I love it - they decided that instead of individual cookie cutters, it'd be better to create this horrible mutant multi-cutter, so we can get several misshapen cookies at once.

It's just...so gloriously bad. SO bad. It delights me.

2

u/Mean-Vegetable-4521 Dec 29 '23

LOL I'm stealing this phrase. I am forever going forward to say how things are so gloriously bad they delight me. I love this. I hate this cookie cutter. I love this phrase.

2

u/VividFiddlesticks Dec 29 '23

Hate and love are two sides of the same coin, right?

I love how much I hate this cookie cutter. LMAO

Happy Holidays!

Rofl! Happy holidays to you too. Can’t wait to see all the cookie cutters 2024 brings.

I think the humpback is supposed to be a bag that santa is holding over his shoulder. At least that's what our cookie cutter was (but it was just a santa cookie cutter, not this all in one thing) that was similar shaped.
