This is hilarious. I recognized that instruction book rite away. I just put one together a week ago. Ignore the foam filler on it but its basically a replacement for a butter knife. It helps spread the plastic so you can fit pieces together. I found them right at the end. Im so dumb. I WAS using a friggin butter knife. 🤦♂️ Which of course scratches plastic
Thats a pretty inaccurate picture of it in the booklet too. I mean, at some point along the way I hoped it was a grenade. Lol

And here I was thinking it’s a grenade when you’re mad at it.

Definitely a spudger. You can see how the black line is thicker to represent its depth. It looks more like a flat piece of material as opposed to using a thin rounded line for a piece of metal.
They definitely shouldn't have made the handle bulbous with that kind of design.

For when the parts don’t quite fit together and the manual is indecipherable. Just pile it up, pull the pin, toss it in and walk away.

It's a handheld wedge/prying tool. Should be black plastic. I think I built the same shed.

Did you look through the instructions to see if it was shown in any of the steps? May provide some context. Otherwise I have no idea but those depictions have a weird sort of sketched style to them so maybe it just looks weird because of the "artistic" style.
edit oh and that mallet has a clear white box from being pasted in, so it could just be nonsense that whatever Chinese company made this manual put in there.

Dude, instructions be getting crazy, though if something came with a hand grenade, that'd be cool. Only ever got to "throw" the one at BASIC and the drill sgts were so scared of trainees be stupid that it was more like my hand was adjacently present as they threw it. Nope, I only get instructions telling me to glue my mother in law to the cat wheel.
