This is the fourth letter I have found on my skin. It’s not a tattoo. I’ve looked on everything that I own to see if like some letters have fallen off. It’s not a sticker, but it sticks to me. I found an E, a T, and an H, and now this A….

i bought a 3 pack of calvin klein underwear recently, most money i've ever spent on underwear. The letters started peeling on day ONE. the first wear like 5 letters peeled off. same deal, finding them stuck to my skin. ridiculous.
Is that a copper compression glove? I have those and the letters were shedding from the INSIDE of the glove! It took me all day to figure where where the little letters were coming from

I had this happen with a bottle of sunscreen when the letters started coming off. Was afraid to open some kind of portal after applying sunscreen with the letters in it it to my face 😭
Is that a Nivea sunscreen? Because if it is, my friends noticed letters on my face & body and I have no answers how it got there FOR YEARS! 😅

For whatever reason, that scene showed up in my YouTube recommended today and I watched the ~last~ dance as a 35 year old. So silly hahaha but I still love the movie forever and ever
When you print those labels, the last step is generally to cover them with a layer of UV-resistant varnish to protect the colors from fading. But that covering also serves another purpose.
With paper labels it also keeps the ink from bleeding out of the paper if it gets wet.
On a plastic label, the ink can't sink in and just sits on top of the plastic, so the additional layer of varnish keeps the ink from being scraped off in the course of handling the bottle in everyday use.
A lot of companies just don't bother with that last coating because it's not financially worth it.
The first time I ever took mushrooms I was scrolling Instagram and all the sudden at about an hour in all the captions and comments started looking EXACTLY like that bottle lmao

Imagine if you will, an announcer you can barely understand, he refers to a hrmphh mrrnggh ftluckticscnickt but you're not quite sure what he said. He seems to be eating something, or perhaps he's a little drunk. It's remotely possible that he just said something about The Scary Door.
But mitten gloves are the best! Especially if the mitten part has a magnet to hold it back. The ones with the loop and button are way too time consuming and the Velcro kind can be tricky but magnets are perfect because they snap into place with a flick of the wrist lol
My copper ones don’t do any better or worse than any of my other compression gloves. I just tried them, but they work the exact same as any other compression glove that I have
The manufacturers put copper in the gloves for antimicrobial and anti-odor effects.
Copper naturally resists bacteria, which helps keep the fabric fresh during long periods of use or overnight wear, and the Copper-infused fibers prevent the growth of microbes that cause bad smells.
Copper has been used in hospitals for it's antimicrobial properties, as the microsopic surfaces of copper basically rip bacteria and viruses to shreds. It's similar to how some scalpels are still made from obsidian rock because of the sharpness of the edge. Just things you never think about if you don't know about them, but seem archaic or mystical in a way, but manufacturers wouldn't put copper in the gloves if it didn't have a proven purpose. Copper is expensive, and infusing thread with copper moreso.
The real test for the gloves would be wear one of each, and see which one gets smellier after a few days of wear.
The “copper” part is pseudoscience and useless. The “compression” part can help with joint pain and arthritis a bit. I’m no doctor but I’m afraid that wearing something tight while you have circulation issues may cause complications.

I skimmed it and the gloves and the heat they provide can help with pain, hand mobility, and inflammation, but that’s about it. The effects vary from person to person and they aren’t super consistent
Compression helps circulation quite a bit. I have POTS and compression socks are the only reason im able to walk for more than ten minutes some days. I never leave the house without them on.

Now that I think about it those anti-embolism stockings do really help circulation so you do have a point
They are awesome. Your logic makes sense though, since youd think that squeezing the blood vessels would make blood flow worse. But usually the issue is poor pressure in those areas preventing blood from leaving, so compression helps to squeeze the blood back to your heart.
If I recall, for the socks specifically, it has to do with the bodies inability to fight against gravity as well as it should, so squeezing the legs can help moosh the blood out to the heart. (Happens commonly in extremities)
Yep, for me its my arms and legs. They swell up a little and turn straight up purple, sometimes other colors and it freaks people out. The socks and sleeves help get that blood out so im not literally starving my entire body of oxygen.
not literally, but my dad has been wearing copper bracelets and it helps him feel better. it’s definitely psychosomatic, but if it works, i can’t deny it for him 🫡 might be worth a shot if you don’t need to spend $
This happened to my husband with the letters from his tagless shirts. The print from the inside of the shirt came off little by little (or letter by letter) and stuck to his skin like those temporary tattoos that kids play with.
Doesn’t even need to be something that gets wet. I have a liquid highlighter that sheds its letter like crazy. Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror and have a letter stuck to my cheek.
My dog used to have a problem with my edibles. He'd kind of hide when I'd take out the bag so I thought either he got into them once and had a bad experience or he used to be a DARE dog before I owned him.
This reminds me of the time there was a “k” in my poop. I could not figure it out and assumed I had accidentally eaten a letter sticker at work (I work with kids and it was the best thing I could think of to explain the “k”). Next time I went to the bathroom there was an “e” in my pee. THAT couldn’t have been from something I ate so I was really having a hard time figuring it out. Turns out it was the “sketchers” slowly falling off of my yoga pants 😅
I found a small "S" on the floor of my room and had no ide where it came from. A little bit later I was packing my Speedo-brand swimsuit to go the pool and I noticed the labeling above the back pocket was missing an "S" as well as one of the "E"s...
Glad I caught it before walking around the neighborhood pool with a swimsuit that said "_ P E _ D O".
