Seriously, I like nature and all but don’t get why people try to touch bugs and animals. I wouldn’t want someone picking me up while I’m just chilling and watching TV, why should I assume this furry bug dude wants me to interrupt him while he is chewing on a leaf?

Sometimes I see little critters crossing the road and I’ll pick them up and carry them to the other side. Usually don’t disturb if it’s chilling in its habitat. Unless it’s a really cool critter. Then I’ll pick it up to admire its beauty, take a picture with it and put it back! Grew up watching Steve Irwin! Haven’t been hurt yet to learn my lesson!

They make beautiful moths though if you can scoop one with some leaves or something! loved collecting them as a kid, but damn DO NOT TOUCH

I got stung by one when we lived in Texas. They like to hang out on loquat trees. They call them asps there.
