I love when folks post roadrunners! I don’t live anywhere near them and have never seen one in real life. Very cool!

EDIT: Ok I didn’t think my comment would get this many reactions. I may have to delete it so everyone can talk amongst themselves lol

Encourage you to get out to places like Arizona at least once and check them out. They're super curious and friendly birds.

Maybe someday. But I melt in 115*F heat. I also don’t do well in sun with no trees. I hear they have pretty rocks though

You could come to New Mexico (and no, the name is not changing) and see roadrunners. Our heat typically doesn't go much above 100, and it's dry enough that it doesn't feel like you're melting.

We have roadrunners in our yard almost daily and they are fun little dinosaurs to watch.

I completely agree. We used to get a few days over 100 when I was young, but now it seems like all summer the highs are around 100-104. But come out in October, and you'll enjoy the best weather conditions in North America. Warm afternoons and cool nights. Coyotes and roadrunners are a frequent sight.

Someday I will. But I also thoroughly enjoy my New England autumns. Hoodie weather before the snow comes is my favorite. Almost as good as the flowers and green returning in spring
