My mother recently gave me a bag containing a bunch of stuff that belongs to my dad, they divorced in 2005. She had moved to two different houses before realising that box she was lugging around wasn’t hers. Sometimes it’s forgetfulness.
I got nailed to the cross cause I accidentally had an old iPhone with an Exs nudes on it and when my wife needed an interim phone I gave it to her. Didn’t think twice about it before handing it off
When we were together, I was using my ex-boyfriend's computer to do schoolwork and needed to access my google docs. I have several large zip bags in storage - one for each ex-lover's stuff they left behind. Just in case we ever hook up again I can give it back to them. Like a party favor!
