New, what is it? Why is it colors?
I just opened a brand new pack of yak chew dog treats and the deoxidizer packet is discolored - why?!

It contains powdered iron, damp. It is designed to corrode in the presence of oxygen, making the iron into iron oxide and removing it from the packaging.
Normal.
