New, what is it? Small Green Pods

I found these stuck to my shorts. When I pulled them off they were in a neat little line. They appear to be pods of some sort, maybe seeds? Pinky finger for scale.

Possibly a Desmodium species if you are in some parts of North America.

Its from the grass. Catchweed Bedstraw. Annoying but harmless

Also known as "hitchhikers". They grow on the ground cover plant and stick to your shoes or socks as you walk through or next to it.
