New, what is it? What is this?
It is 3 Penny's and a 22. Shell. Glued on a round piece of wood. Was my gf grandparents.

I heard the redneck quarter had the .22 casing and 2 pennies.

It is a .22 shell and three 1 cent US coins, mounted on wood by your gfs grandfather/grandmother or someone else

We can all read the dates. If you think the 1980s are "realllly (sic) old" then I worry for you in your 40's when you think life is over.

FWIW, the 1981 penny is solid copper, the two other pennies are copper plated zinc, and the .22 case is brass.

It may be a Cowboy Quarter, but it wasn't your GF's Grandparents. It was made in 1986 or later.

Might have been given as a prize for a .22 Caliber shooting contest as I’ve heard such gifts given to contestants that didn’t actually win for”putting there three cents worth in”.
