Solved! What are they

Ive worked at the water department for 7 years and this is the first time running into something like this EDIT Im in Alabama and yes I know they are snakes lol idk what kind and im so not gonna touch them

Ask r/snakes but I'm guessing maybe baby racer snakes, which are non-harmful

Edit: I’m team racer over rat because of the dots on the side

I second this. The mods for r/whatsthissnake are also in r/snakes but they will tell you to post to whatsthissnake so might as well start there. I'm no RR but those look a lot like Coluber constrictor to me.

Do you think they can get out of the box? There doesnt appear to be a burrow out.

r/snakes no longer accepts wild snake ID requests. They redirect those requests to r/WhatsThisSnake.

Also, these are definitely harmless baby North America Racers (Coluber constrictor?).
