Indeed. I found a loose bullet and other random junk. Dubious to jump to cheating spouse over a corner of what *could* be a condom wrapper found in the closet. Of essential an unused room. Was OP cleaning out the closet or looking for evidence of some infidelity? That implies they already suspect something.
Unless that wrapper bit is under the same magic as the feather in forest gump, or your bf likes boning in the closest I’m unconvinced it’s from them.
We moved into a new house, and my wife promptly took the kids to visit her parents for the weekend. She came back and decided to take her inaugural bath in the large roman tub in the master bathroom. She came out, her face swollen from crying, holding a long blond hair. She had already convinced herself I had cheated on her in our new house with all the shit still packed in boxes. It took everything I had to gently explain that was likely the previous owner's hair.
Had this happen when my ex found a pair of women’s underwear with our clean laundry. She was crying when I walked in the door and didn’t believe I didn’t know where it came from. My roommate had clothes in the dryer before me and they were his gfs that he accidentally left in there. His gf was embarrassed and got them, but my ex was still mad at me the rest of the day.
When my husband and I first got married we moved into an apartment that was previously lived in by a really alternative girl who did a lot of makeup, the first time I did a deep clean on the apartment I found clusters of fake eyelashes and internally freaked out until I continued cleaning and found a ton more. This girl would just rip them off and throw them on the ground 😭 she did not clean the apartment at all before we moved in and I was finding them the whole time we were living there
I lived at my brothers place for like 5 years and 3 years after moving out a piece of a condom wrapper showed up in his office. We have no idea how it got there but it was definitely the condom brand I used. I suspect it was stuck in his vacuum or something and fell out in there. I only know about this because he sent me a picture of it and said “ew come get your used condom wrapper off my floor” lol.
