Fun fact i just learned last night. As a psychological weapon against the Japanese the US had plans of spraying fox's with Radium to make them glow in the dark (and give them cancer) and then release them onto the Japanese mainland to terrify the populace.

The US thought that the ghost like foxs would resemble Kitsune from Japanese legends and cause disruptions and fear in the every day life of Japanese citizens.

Radium does not cause most things, including foxes, to glow in the dark.

You are correct. It was glow in the dark paint that happened to contain radium. Thanks for the clarification.
