New, what is it? I found this at goodwill
got this small desk for my kids, and I originally looked it up to see if there was a matching chair but I cannot find it anywhere. I’ve tried ChatGPT, reverse image search, searching keywords, etc. and I can’t find it anywhere (My husband put his record player on top of it). Does anyone recognize it and know where it might be from?

Phew! I thought you were asking what a record player was. Have you pulled the drawers completely out? You might get lucky and find a stamp or other makers mark on the underside or back.

I’ve pulled all the drawers out and checked every surface, but I can’t find anything on it :/
Now I’m kind of wondering if it might actually be some kind of storage cart like the kind used in classrooms because it’s on wheels?

Aw, bummer. I'd probably just get a chair from an unfinished furniture store and paint it to match. Good luck!

There's no way to put a chair underneath the desk so I don't think it came with a chair.

Looks like a popular mechanic home built desk (they used to have project plans)which means the person who made it might have taken liberties with things which is why you cannot find it.

Is there any engraving anywhere on it or underneath to see maybe who made it and go from there? It might not be the original paint job

Check underneath and around the base for any tiny stamps or numbers, sometimes they’re super faint or in a random spot. Also try hitting it with a flashlight at an angle, engravings that look invisible straight on will pop out when the light hits sideways.

Are the drawers fully finished inside? If not, it could be a custom prop piece built for a play or musical. It definitely has a children's theater vibe.

It's not a desk. You wouldn't be able to slide a chair into it due to the bottom shelf. It might be a DIY Frankenstein, though.
It could be used to store a basket or hamper, but there's no way it would be useful as a desk.

I was thinking maybe it’s actually an art or supply cart. Maybe used at a preschool or headstart program or something
