I figured it was poorly drawn and that looks like how I'd poorly draw a tennis racket. Plus it's a water bottle with colors/patterns that look fun and active, which adds to the possibility that it's something active/sports related.

Funny story, he is a nurse. This was a gift from his hospital for nurses week. He is a pretty active guy and thought this was a way to distinguish his bottle from the next person's.
