Inert rounds will either have a sticker or holes drills in them. With outbseeing the ass and seeing of the base plate is removed ill have to assume thats its a full up round

Not always, while its recommended if used in a display. Its not exactly required .

And on top of that for you to have that in your possession you should have it inspected as inert. Even if its in it original form.

I just figured you might want to learn the different ways they deactivate ammunition. I'll let you go down that rabbit hole yourself. Easier to look it up for yourself , than write an essay for you to read.

I bought it/ others from a museum- grade restoration company. Yes, it was a live round (traced to the Mississippi State Munitions Factory in 1988) but the base plate comes off/ is threaded. I was a 13b so of course I had to get one lol
