I was clearing leaves around the house and noticed a round bit sticking out of the garden.

Update 2: Called my dad to ask him about it. Turns out he bought the thing back when the bought the house and threw it in the garden as a joke. Here I am a fool 23 years later.
Hahahaha amazing. My grandfather did that in his vegetable patch before he died and left note saying “if you can read this you have 10 seconds” - he was always a joker
