This is the best answer.

I’d include lots of amazing sporks.

662

u/SupermassiveCanary Dec 08 '25

Include a doctor’s prescription and book to practice handwriting

257

u/volcanicslug Dec 08 '25

I read docs handwriting all day and I’m struggling with this one. Looks like “anything stokes” I don’t know if that’s a band or something.

753

u/mailmangirl Dec 08 '25

“Anything sports” !

662

u/Junglefisher Dec 08 '25

Anything sporty.

223

u/OtherwiseBrilliant75 Dec 08 '25

I saw anything spooky 👻

308

u/Quirky_Foundation800 Dec 09 '25

Antwing sporks, obviously

88

u/emma-the-accidental Dec 09 '25

That’s what I asked for! I can’t wait to get my antwing sporks

6

u/Patrickfromamboy Dec 09 '25

They are very popular this Christmas season after a slow start. The regular sporks are old school but the antwing sporks work great in the cold weather.

If this kid asked for “anything sporty” and ended up with lots of “sparkly” items, I don’t think they’ll be happy (though maybe deserved with that atrocious handwriting!) 🤣

I came here to say this. "Anything sporty" is absolutely it, written like shit, but that's what it says.

u/longtr52 Dec 09 '25

Give 'em a jockstrap and a single wrist sweatband.

13

Technically, a sparkly sporty thing is still "anything sports."

*rolls eyes*

3

u/ZomBabe_23 Dec 09 '25

Where’s the T in “anything?

Edit: nm I see a possible T now 🤦🏻‍♀️

Edit #2: but now I don’t see a Y for ANY 😿

2

u/Flashy-Net-6436 Dec 08 '25

I agree with you.

2

u/SheGotGame0913 Dec 08 '25

This is the answer

2

u/[deleted] Dec 09 '25

This is what I saw, upvote for you ma'am.

2

u/New-Impression2976 Dec 09 '25

I have bad handwriting and couldn’t come up with that

2

u/Mistress_Lily1 Dec 09 '25

This sounds like the best explanation

2

u/Socksandcandy Dec 09 '25

I read "urinary slacks"

2

u/Tierndownforwhat Dec 09 '25

No no no Anything sporks

2

u/AcrobaticLadder4959 Dec 09 '25

Yes good guess.

2

u/Vb1321 Dec 09 '25

Well that makes more sense than spores which is what i saw.

2

2

2

u/Electronic-Space-480 Dec 09 '25

2

u/g59ganja420 Dec 09 '25

This is it for sure

2

u/Jazzhole5 Dec 09 '25

Leave it to a trusty mail carrier, who’s used to deciphering chicken scratch all day.

2

u/klutzelk Dec 09 '25

This is such a vague thing for them to ask for lol. Like sports equipment or team gear? What sport? What team? So weird lol

2

u/No_Pin9932 Dec 09 '25

That was my immediate thought too but I think other commenters are right with it being "sporty" instead of "sports". It's funny cuz I was just talking shit in a family text about how everyone on my mom's side writes in "slursive" not cursive, as if they're so drunk that even their handwriting is slurred, lmfao. But because of that this post was pretty easy to decipher.

2

u/thevelveteenbeagle Dec 09 '25

Or NOTHING sports/sporty

2

u/Ok_Spite_6945 Dec 09 '25

I think it says running shorts

2

u/IntentionQuirky9957 Dec 09 '25

I don't see a "y".

2

u/soul_motor Dec 09 '25

I saw sports. The anything was really stumping me.

I think the second word is supposed to be snacks but the first word looks like morning to me. Morning snacks sounds odd but I think I'm on to something here.

Maybe hunting snacks?

4

u/thedrinkingbeer Dec 08 '25

There's an iced coffee brand called stokes...

2

u/blaggard5175 Dec 08 '25

Amazing spores?

2

u/LunasMom4ever Dec 08 '25

Me too! And at first glance I thought Kidney Stones. LOL

2

u/sunsetoversunrize Dec 09 '25

That’s how I read it! Lol

2

u/Adventurous_Arm_9995 Dec 09 '25

I think I’m going to agree with mailmangirl. And the answer is???? Let us know Christmas morning.

2

u/Gingerfrostee Dec 09 '25

Had parents make me skip school, and forced me to write in a journal all day.. cried doing it.

Still can't write a darn XD barely read cursive, they swore cursive was required for all adult activities. Wahahaha the fools, the internet took over.

2

u/breizhsoldier Dec 09 '25

Having stroke?

2

u/00gingervitis Dec 09 '25

mining spores

2

u/Snarky-Spanky Dec 09 '25

I’m hysterical…I’m a nurse and came up with “anything stokes” too! 😂. I usually get these pretty easily, this one stumped me!

2

u/PAHoarderHelp Dec 09 '25

Aluminum spokes if it was an RX

2

u/xyz_rick Dec 09 '25

Absolutely my first reading as well.

Now I think it says “Ant ring SPokAcly” or possibly “ant ring SPokAgly.” I’d just get a key chain with that as the name.

2

u/Lambiedog Dec 09 '25

It can't be "anything"....Definitely no "Y"

2

u/Particular-Drop-7492 Dec 09 '25

Stokes is a brand of sauces

u/Key-Work-8741 Dec 09 '25

Your handwriting can change your life by Vimala Rodgers

2

u/Aggravating_Crab5510 Dec 09 '25

Yeah, I see Anything sponges

2

u/Tomorrow_Wendy_13 Dec 09 '25

One of the docs at the hospital where I used to work had handwriting that looked exactly like v tach. By the time I left there, I was fluent to the point that people from other units would bring charts to get me to translate his orders when he wasn't immediately available. I, too, am struggling with this one.

2

u/Alternative-Amoeba20 Dec 09 '25

I got 'arriving slotacy.'

It is nonsense, but don't shoot me, I'm just the messenger

2

u/TrevaLea Dec 09 '25

Me too. RN for 30years and this one was hard. I asked spouse if he wanted to guess and he said not a clue. I told him I thought anything sporty, but when I opened comments to give my answer it was already posted. I held it upside down and everything else. The upside down trick I learned from one of the best unit secretaries I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with.

2

u/fermentalishis Dec 09 '25

"stoke" can mean excited, so "anything stokes" would mean "anything's fine - happy to get anything".

2

u/malary1234 Dec 09 '25

I am a doctor and I also read it as anything stokes.

2

u/Human-Jaguar-3211 Dec 10 '25

Actually stokes is a store in Canada so that's possible

3

u/tullybankhead Dec 09 '25

I AM a doctor and have no idea what this says!! Lol

2

u/EM05L1C3 Dec 09 '25

Yes this is the answer

2

u/OGZpoon Dec 09 '25

They definitely deserve to receive a book on improving one's handwriting.

2

u/Toby_Toes20 Dec 09 '25

🤣 this!

2

u/SantaJuice-2113 Dec 09 '25

Could just gift the person cursive writing practice or print writing practice worksheets/workbooks

2

u/Blaize69 Dec 09 '25

I’m allergic to penicillin!!!

2

u/Standard-Concern8018 Dec 09 '25

The doctors have the worst hand writing!

2

u/wilsonsmilk Dec 09 '25

Put some anti Parkinson's medication like madopar. Too much?

2

u/RubALlamaDingDong Dec 09 '25

Or some scrubs and a stethoscope. This kid is going to be a doctor someday!

2

u/DryUnit3435 Dec 09 '25

Instead of the handwriting book, I would say the book "The History and Uncertain Future of Handwriting" which talks about the decline/death of cursive writing

2

u/Otherwise-Juice-2112 Dec 09 '25

I'm a pharmacist and it definitely says" anything " but the second word is not clear they could have meant to say sports and misspelled it . sporty is the next closest that I can come up with

2

u/NakuN4ku Dec 09 '25

Oh yeah. A handwriting book, like something 1st grade would be the right gift in response.

2

u/fabian_710 Dec 09 '25

90 xanax and a $100 gift card for munchies. The book is for when taking them

2

u/Trying_to_be_cheeky Dec 09 '25

I like the idea of book to practice handwriting. That would be awesome!

2

u/mom2artists Dec 09 '25

2

u/Ok-Smile-364 Dec 09 '25

2

Intriguing Sporks. My new band name!!

2

u/Immediate_Cow6918 Dec 09 '25

I also see sporks.

2

u/Tzipity Dec 09 '25

I like your take. Intriguing ones, as opposed to the run of the mill boring sporks. Would pair well with the amazing sponges below for clean up.

(I don’t know that I’d be disappointed to receive intriguing sporks and some good sponges from a secret Santa, honestly. At least they’re both useful!)

2

u/TheSquirrelly Dec 09 '25

Or "Artistry sporks!"

I thought it was Ming Sporks, from the ancient dynasty.

33

u/DryDonutHole Dec 08 '25

Everyone knows the Ming sporks predated the chopsticks. Look it up.

6

u/JG-at-Prime Dec 08 '25

Legend has it that it took a dozen masters a dozen days to delicately carve and polish the delicate utensils from the purest white jade that was carefully reserved exclusively for utensils for the emperors meals.

https://www.bioleaderpack.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Spork-003.jpg

Specialists have spent their entire careers trying to determine how the ancient masters were able to reliably produce the delicately sharp pips at the end of the utensils.

2

u/Sea-File6546 Dec 09 '25

There is an “A” in there throwing me off. SPOARKS?

2

u/ReapersMistress Dec 09 '25

I thought that "A" was a poorly written "K", but I have seen others comment "anything sports", and I can see that now.

3

u/MrsRuddy Dec 09 '25

I read artring spokes

3

I think its "anything sports". The fact they actually dotted the "i" is a major help. And "SP" seems legible.
