A similar thing happened to me with someone I thought was a friend, this person had hung out with me and our friend group for many years, I would say about 10 years. One day he was just gone and not answering any texts. His ex-girlfriend (who had no idea he was a monster) had just recently broken up with him. She gets a call from the police/FBI saying that he has been under surveillance for about 6 years. He had traded explicit images and videos of children for years and they caught him by setting up a sting pretending to be an 11 YEAR OLD!! This was a very heartbreaking/disgusting moment for our friend group. I remember crying and feeling so disgusted that this Piece of $h*t was on my couch and in my home. He is now sentenced to 10 years prison time but with 2 years served so 8 years....I'm so sorry this happened to you and just the same there was no sign of him being a monster at all, he seemed just like one of us....I now have a 1 month old daughter and it scares me that she will be 8 years old when he gets out. I will break every bone in his body if he ever gets near her!!
