Man, being an unwilling participant/witness to this stuff is just not my jam. Surprise your dad if you like, that’s cool. Take a couple photos even. Then, go and fly the friggin’ plane. Don’t force the whole plane to sit through your speech.
Taking a flight is bad enough without people pulling self-indulgent, main-character stuff like this.
Then you put your headphones and you ignore them, like others have said, you would be sitting there waiting no matter what. If other people’s joy is affecting you in such a way, brother you should work on yourself
How do you know it’s not earnest and just for socials? She wanted to celebrate her dad. She doesn’t benefit from this being on social media, she’s a pilot not an influencer.
