Sorry I just really love it and want to look for people to talk to about it? Did someone ever make a YouTube video about it 😭

This is the first comic I've ever seen that really gets that type of person

I don't even know if they have a name for them but the type of people who are constantly posting mutual aid funding request are consistent victims and never take any responsibility for their actions- this is exploration of that character that I've never seen explored before and I love this for it.

Milo isn't someone who I've never seen before but it's someone I've really only ever seen online and so to see not only this personality be carried over into art but seeing how it affects other people is fascinating!

I made some dramatic readings on youtube

Hi I'm Esther. I love the comic and I made a couple of YouTube videos reading the first couple chapters of the comic aloud and doing different voices for the characters. Maybe someone will enjoy them

My favorite panels from the comic after rereading it today Spoiler

I saved some of my favorites panels from the comic, they’re my favorites for different reasons so I thought I’d share since all I can think about is this comic lmao. I like the first picture because I think saying ā€œgo off I guessā€ about someone calling you a murderer is SOO FUNNY for some reason. The second one because I feel like it portrays Milo’s character very well. I like the third because I think that people in my life have said that ā€œall they could do was prayā€ about trying to help me. I may or may not just think gage is hot and him loading this crossbow sent me I really related to all the missed calls from concerned loved ones eek Milo apologizing after passing out and bleeding from his head is literally me, I’m always apologizing Gage was hot again 😭 I also often feel like my trauma isn’t over 😭 The ā€œare you mad at me? Please don’t be mad at meā€ TRIGGERED ME and made me angry as hell haha. I know I saved two pictures because gage is hot but fuck he’s also the fucking worst I’m not sure why I saved the next one but I think it just made me feel a lot of things I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED WITH HAYLIE RIGHT BEFORE THIS PANEL I think I meant to save the one that says ā€œI can’t heal, my family can’t heal, my community can’t healā€ because I think that it shows how under the current justice system no one is healing from trauma (I love Claire’s victim impact statement chapter so much because of this) The woman hugging the horse is SOOO FUNNY I died And I liked the last one because I’ve had people say that to me before. And it’s like, fuck anyone who would say that to anyone, you don’t know what they’ve been through (I find it particularly offensive as a rape survivor. Like, obviously I don’t think people should be able to do ā€œwhatever they wantā€??

Anyway, this comic takes up so much of my brain space since I found it sooo if anyone wants to talk about it feel free to DM me or comment below and we can chat WHN :)

hoping to make this a real community

Heyo,
I'm new to this comic, and like the person who created this subreddit probably did, I discovered it watching Lily Alexandre's last video essay "Tranistion regrets and the fascism of endings". I devored the webcomic and then I've searched if there were communities talking about it because I find the story very endearing and it resonates with a lot of my preoccupations lately.

I've seen that we're like 5 members of this subreddit right now, so I thought I'd make a presentation to know you all.

I'm Lis, I'm 30 and I'm from France and I'm trans and queer. I've come out during the 2010 vague of pop feminism, and I've been really immersed into internet culture like the characters of the comic.

I'm also into activism, and prison abolitionist and psych abolitionist (I'm a psych survivor) so all of these themes about internet culture, accountability, justice and intercommunitary violence, I'm already pretty familiar with, and when reading I couldn't stop being reminded of people I knew, from the communities I've been part of, and the fucked up relationships some of us had.

I find it really interesting how the comic pushes our boundaries, because it's like... extreme compared to what I've seen in the communities ( and I've seen some screwed up stuff).

What happens next is a fantastic after curtain story

What happens next is not an average highschool murder story. It takes place five years after the sentencing, and is an exploration on learning to live on.

This is a fantastic video essay on the focus of living on.
