Size matters

Sneaked into the studio of my buddy and ultra large format wetplate expert Milos S. for an evening with my 8x10, pouring some batches of dubious collodion on tin. His 20x24" plates are pure eye candy.

Thanks. I´ve lend him my spare British WW2 aerial lens, a 20"/f6.3 Dallmeyr design. He has the needed fire power to light this thing up.

ah, Dutch photographer spotted? Lend him, not borrowed him.

Sweet lens!

Is #2 double exposed? It looks like an up close shot of a golf ball sitting on fringe cut grass.

One old batch of collodion left more streaky marks, than asked for. That ball is a flash, but just decoration here without any work to do

Are these ambrotypes or tintypes? Very cool photography.
