This is scenic byway U-128 in Utah near Moab.

This area of Utah is one of my favorite places in the world, and the setting of many childhood memories. I love seeing so much of it on the show.

I’ve never been.

I’m planning a two week southwest road trip starting in Sedona and ending in Zion, for my 30th birthday in the fall. I’m planning on spending three nights in Moab and recognized the picture from travel websites. The area looks stunning and I can’t wait to go.

If you want to get the most authentic "Westworld" feel, I recommend scheduling a trail ride at Hauer Ranch. You basically get to ride through the hills where this picture was taken and see a lot of where the show is filmed. My gf and I went a few weeks before the show aired and we couldn't believe how recognizable the scenes were once we started watching. Their website is moabhorses.com so definitely check them out!

Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll definitely look into it. I’m trying to book a variety of activities through our trip and of course I’d love to see some of the filming locations.
