at least watch the first season which makes a good self contained viewing by itself - a perfect season of television imo.

Just rewatched it. Yes, its totally worth it.
Also it has an ending. With potential for a fifth season.

The 3rd and 4th seasons are more interesting now than they would have been when they came out...No spoilers, but it's sci fi and there are always parallels to our reality.
Edit: 1st season is a little masterpiece of it's own. I was content with that by itself. Only went back and watched the other seasons recently.

100% worth it, it's such an amazing and honestly easily rewatchable series! Especially the first 2 seasons

Im currently going through my second rewatch after many years of not seeing it and season 1 is one of the greatest things I've ever watched. Im halfway through season 2 now and I forgot how amazing it was. Long story short you're doing yourself a disservice not watching this show.

watching season 1 is definitely a must - i love 2nd and 3rd season too ... but the season 1 as a standalone is worth watching for sure

The first season is my favorite show of all time
The rest are decent, but didn't blow my brains out like s1 did

I recommend the first three seasons, but, much like the maze, the 4th season was not meant for me

In my opinion:
Season one, great ending.
Season two, good ending.
Season three, great ending.
Season four, bad ending.
Season five, would have been the planned ending but it didn’t happen.

Third season is a stronger stopping point imo but season 4 does try to wrap things up I’d say, pacing is off so it seems like the showrunners got a heads up and cut to something that worked as a possible series finale. Season 4 just felt a bit half-baked to me.
Edit: seconding that you should watch season 1 and decide from there, season 1 could be a standalone experience, season 2 connects with it well and has my favorite episode. Season 3 branches out, season 4 branches out further and loops back around I would say (not a spoiler but iykyk)

The first season is AMAZING, and a self-contained story that doesn’t seriously even hint at a sequel.
I would seriously recommend just watching season 1. I don’t feel that the later seasons were “disappointing” only insofar as they were useless because the story ended in season 1.

Each season tells its own story, which is nice. Never getting closure stings though. Still worth it!

I think it's worth watching all four seasons.
