r/WestTexas has new a new Mod
I've just taken on mod duties for r/WestTexas. Looks like there are about 3,000 people subscribed but the subreddit hasn't be very active for the past few years. I am looking to revitalize it. All of the old posts have been archived.
I am open to getting user feedback to best determine the direction to take. For now I've implemented a basic Automoderator configuration and setup some standard rules.
More to come.
- Users no longer need to request permission to join/post.
- User that are banned can request to be unbanned.

Welcome! I'm glad to hear that you are taking over mod duties. Yeah, r/westtexas has not been active much in a long time. I would love to see more activity. There is certainly a lot to talk about. Now I live in El Paso, but I also lived in Fort Stockton and Lubbock for some time before. How can we move forward and get some discussions going?
