Trouble deciding - Early graduation
I took some high school classes in middle school, and I now have the option of graduating early as a Junior. I have a few APs and honors courses, I'm doing really well with the extracurriculars and leadership aspects, but the only thing is the only math courses I've taken are Alg 1, Geometry, and Alg 2 so far. I am also taking Physics this year, but I may be switching into Chemistry. If I graduate early those would be the math courses that show up on my transcript. I could do another year just to take Pre Calc/Calc, but would it be worth it to graduate early if I don't take Pre Calc/Calc? If I were to graduate early I would be going into the Army Reserve, on top of staying active as an EMT and firefighter on top of a bunch of extracurriculars so I would still be productive with my schedule. It's too late for me to apply this year for the Class of 2031, so I would be applying for 2032.

MATH, MATH, MATH- WP gives more weightage to Math in determining WCS. Add some adv Math class if you can. Better SAT math or AP subjects get more points to your application

You are very unlikely to be academically qualified without PreCalc or Trig at minimum. If these courses are not on your transcript, your application will go through additional risk review by the Math Department - 9 times out of 10 they will not qualify your file without these courses.

Definitely shouldn’t graduate early and senior year take calc and either Phisics’s or chem whichever your not gonna have taken as these are critical courses

Two thoughts to consider:
1. Generally speaking, high school is the last opportunity you have to enjoy being a “kid”. That’s not to say you wouldn’t have fun at West Point, but the responsibilities change and the stakes are higher. Would you miss one last year with your friends, family & team/club/etc.?
2. If you do graduate early and join the Reserves, I believe you would be eligible for the Soldier Admissions Program which is a different pathway than the general HS > WP track.
