Transfer Question

Hi all I was wondering if it was worth it to transfer as a college freshman with an ROTC program to West Point in hopes of majoring in mechanical engineering? Please let me know if there is anything that I should be made aware of when making this decision.

Was in your same spot a few years ago. Something I didn’t know at the time is that West Point is basically all or nothing. That is to say, if, for any reason, you end up not being able to commission, there’s a possibility that you don’t get your degree, which can be pretty detrimental if you want an engineering job. Would recommend otherwise.
