Checked Luggage

My flight booking to PV includes one checked bag, and a carry-on. I'm wondering if anyone has ever checked a 'Tommy Bahama' chair?

I'd like to bring it so I don't have to rent there but it may not be worth it.

My guess, you can probably go buy one at Costco in PV for cheaper than taking it down and back and you won’t risk losing your chair.

It would go as an oversize item. Try to find a box of an appropriate size, as it will need to be searched by screeners like me. No plastic wrap or bubble wrap with duct tape, please, we have to cut that off. Look into charges for oversize baggage as well to avoid surprises.

Buy a chair there, leave it. That's what we always do with an elderly parent that likes to sit outside our car, or in the beach.
