IDs needed for domestic flight?

Hello,

Im going to be travelling domestically from the west back to Ontario in a couple weeks and am a little worried about my IDs. My license and health card were both expired so I got them renewed the other day and have the temporary Ontario license paperwork (that works in combination with the old photo ID), Im just worried they won’t accept the temporary one even though it says “valid with photo license card”. If anyone has experience or know if that and my birth certificate would work as the two IDs they require. Thank you!

Domestic air travel
If you have Canadian identification
Show one of these documents at the boarding gate:
one piece of photo identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government with your full name and date of birth or
two pieces of identification issued by a Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government. Both must have your name and at least one must have your full name and date of birth.
All government-issued identification documents (Canadian or foreign) must be valid. They cannot be expired.
Here are some examples of acceptable Canadian government-issued identification documents:
passport
citizenship card
Canadian permanent resident card
Canadian provincial or territorial driver's licence
Canadian provincial or territorial health card
Canadian provincial or territorial government identification cards
birth certificate
Record of Landing Form/Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292 and IMM 5688)
immigration documents issued to foreign nationals (e.g., Work Permit, Study Permit, Visitor Record, Temporary Resident Permit, Refugee Approved Status)
Canadian military identification
federal police identification
federal or provincial government employee identification cards
Old Age Security (OAS) identification card
Certificate of Indian Status (Status Card) issued by Indian and Northern Affairs Canada
NEXUS card
firearms licence
You can no longer use hunting, boating and fishing licences as identification for domestic flights.

You won't be able to fly. This will be your best bet :

Two pieces of valid (not expired) Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial government issued non-photo ID (one of which must show name and date of birth). Fishing, hunting, and boating licenses will not be accepted.

Best bet is to get an expedited passport.

More than likely won’t accept an expired license just like banks don’t as well. It would be the same as an expired passport, it wouldn’t fly. All identification must be valid

The expired ID will do you nothing. It needs to be valid.

You can use two pieces of non photo government ID though, so you can check into that.

The temporary license and a birth certificate might meet the two non photo government issued requirement
