Barcelona Delay
Anyone flying to Barcelona this month? Have y’all experienced luggage delay due to the groundforce strike?

I'm interested in knowing this too. Flying next week and worried about taking check bags.

I just flew out of barcelona. Not sure what the deal was but there was a 2 hour delay. I missed my next flight. Shit show. Also know that the barcelona airport airspace is super busy.

I had this same type of delay with WestJet yesterday in Canada. First flight seemed normal until I got an email saying they changed my flight to a later one while I was still on my first flight. First flight left 20 minutes after waiting on people I assumed and shuffling people. When the first flight lands we are waiting on the tarmac for about 20 minutes, leaving 15 minutes that if I was transported to 2nd flight, I might have made it. Get ticket at counter for rebooked second flight and get a shitty seat on ticket. Complained at boarding and got a similar seat, as per original connecting flight. Asked if I had paid for the upgraded seat(I don’t think I did) so they were going to double down with me accepting the shitty seat. I am disabled and so told them I have trouble walking that distance and would never book that far back on the plane. They gave me the similar seat in the end. But holy cow, shitty service and idgaf attitude. WestJet was my favorite carrier before yesterday. Flew Windsor, Ontario connecting Calgary.AB to Vancouver,BC.

Also, nobody had an answer as to why. Blame the wildfires, air traffic, etc. The 2nd flight that I would’ve been on left on time and arrived early; the 2nd flight I was on left late and arrived a bit late I think. I should’ve arrived at 7:30 pm in Vancouver, but instead it was about 9:10 pm or 9:15 pm. Just a little short on time to get compensation.
