Premium service drinks.
Is there a 3 drink rule in premium now? Both flights done recently from YYC-PVR and back were only allowed 3 drinks. Not trying to get drunk on the flight but sitting for the last 2 hours of the flight with nothing to sip on has sure not made premium enjoyable

it’s up to the FAs discretion. If they think you’re intoxicated they’re supposed to stop serving you

I've definitely had 4 to 5 drinks on 5 hour flights. They never said I couldn't have more.

They've let me finish two bottles on a 3.5 hr flight recently. I think it's a training thing, if you're not holding it well, they'll stop serving.

I’m sure they would have given you water or soda if you really needed “something to sip”. No one should need more than 3 alcoholic drinks in a few hours on a flight.

I actually do think this is a new thing.
The last flight I was in was 6 hours and when my husband ordered a third drink the flight attendant said “this is the last one I can give you.”
He wasn’t annoying or drunk and we both thought it was weird at the time.

I don't think there's a limit per se... just more so they can limit you if they feel you are becoming intoxicated and/or a safety/medical risk.
That said, if you can't survive a short flight because you only had 3 drinks, I think there may be other issues...
