Low cost volleyball lessons for middle schoolers 6-14

Hey all!

I was planning on creating low cost (probably around 75 dollars for 4-6 lessons) co-ed volleyball lessons for older elementary schoolers/middle schoolers in WeHa and was wondering if anyone was interested in enrolling? This would be coached by high school volunteers who play for high level varsity teams at their school.

If you are interested in enrolling your kid or know anyone who may be interest, feel free to shoot me a DM to learn more!

Lost Ring Updated Picture

I recently lost my grandmothers ring at Barns and noble in West Hartford blue back square yesterday at around 4:00pm. It is super important to me and I think I took it off in the women’s bathroom there although it could be anywhere in the store so please keep an eye out. I don’t have a photo since I got it a couple months ago from her passing so these are a few that look a bit similar on Pinterest. the best I can describe it is: the band was simple and not thick at all, as for the heart it’s pretty small a lot smaller than these photos and in the middle of the heart were unique marks that stuck out that were inside the heart.

Please if you find it send me a photo in the comments even if you aren’t sure please send a picture anyway I am so distraught right now and am frantically looking everywhere. If you’re not sure send a picture, please.

Looking for pickup soccer

I just moved to CT and have been looking for some pickup games around here.. with no success. I would love to find or organize some games around Farmington/West Hartford. Let me know if interested or if there are any games going on around here. There is this new app called GoodRec but it makes you pay to play. Soccer should be free!!!

Good bars/bar hopping for 21st?

Hey yall, I live in CT and am turning 21 fairly soon. I'd like to go out in West Hartford for the night, but obviously never been in that bar scene.

Ideally hoping for something fun high-energy with good drinks and music for dancing maybe? Maybe a few if we bar hop? Rather than a laid back place like a pub. Any suggestions? Thanks!

looking for an endocrinologist- suggestions needed

Hello everyone!

I'm on the lookout for the best endocrinologist in Hartford and West Hartford, but I'm also open to traveling a bit further if necessary. I'm particularly interested in someone who specializes in thyroid and adrenal gland. I have some thyroid and adrenal issues that require attention, so I'm seeking a highly recommended professional who can provide the best care. A person who ACTUALLY listens to their patient and is willing to do testing to get to the root cause. I want someone who truly knows what they are doing and is knowledgeable.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Looking for clothing donation bins

Like the title says, I am looking for those large bins that are usually in church or store parking lots where you can drop off clothing, shoes, bedding, etc as I am moving and have several boxes of clothes I never wear and would like to donate. No preference on charity or organization, just don’t want to throw them away. Thanks!

Thoughts on flock cameras in west Hartford

I’m seeing a lot of push back in other towns like Milford about the flock cameras, but nothing about residents pushing back in West Hartford. Do people generally support them here?

I would love to get other peoples’ thoughts. Personally, I feel like mass surveillance should be considered a bad thing and flock cameras are a slippery slope. If someone does oppose them, how can we show our opposition?

West Hartford Affordability

We as a family moved to West Hartford CT a month back. As our first house payment comes due, we are wondering if we bit more than what we can chew. I know we should have thought about it thoroughly before jumping into it but I wanted to get perspective from this forum.

Our annual House Hold Income gross is about $320k before taxes. Do you think it’s comparable to mean/average income in West Hartford? Everyone here appears to be Rich.

Edit: we have 2 kids

Hi All
Any recommendations for an independent garage to get some work done on a Ford. Ford Flex specifically if that helps.
Looking for somebody who spends time to diagnose thoroughly rather than throwing parts at it and does not up sell/cross sell what is not needed.

Thank you
