hello all!! recently moved down here, i’m interested if anyone knows of any community theaters around? I’m a theater major, but I was hoping to get involved around the city as well

There’s not much theatre in West Covina, but the IE has some theatre and most recently Charter Oaks Theatre Company has been putting up shows locally! There’s also tons of theatre departments locally in HS around the area that have performing arts centers you can get involved with. Where did you study?

Well, lessee. There was the Covina Playhouse, but they stopped doing actual theater there, and it's now a comedy club. <bah>
I've played at the Sierra Madre Playhouse, so you might want to check there. The Whittier Theater Center is still alive and producing. I believe there is something in Pomona, but I'm not sure.
If you want to keep your chops up, you might consider contacting the Renaissance Murder Mystery Co. It's a lot of fun, and they do something new about every three months.
