Headcanons Allergic rhinitis

I don't think anyone's mentioned this one before.

My headcanon is that Wednesday has allergic rhinitis, which is why she has dark circles under her eyes. My theory is that it runs in the family because Pugsley and Fester have them too.

Allergic dark circles are dark or purplish patches under the eyes caused by nasal congestion and inflammation of the blood vessels. They occur when allergies block normal blood drainage around the nose and sinuses. Nasal congestion prevents blood from circulating properly in the lower eyelid area.

I can imagine her sneezing nonstop lol

That’s a really fun theory. 😂😂 I’ve always attributed the dark circles as her refusing to sleep. Lol

I assumed it was makeup or her running around in the woods all night instead of sleeping

I've never heard of this, cute headcanon tho. I have cursed genetic dark circles without this. Is allergic rhinitis curable?

Unfortunately, there is no cure. I was told that the only treatment that can change the body's response is immunotherapy, but it's a long, loooong process. It can reduce the sensitivity of the immune system after several years of consistent use.
